Winter is hard to deal with in NC after Christmas is over.
A lot of us tend to take down the tree and say “Ok, time for summer! I’m ready!”
No snow makes this time of year pretty lackluster down South and patience runs thin.
Luckily we do have some mountainous regions to run away too and play in the white stuff if we choose.
January is when my ski bug arrives and starts pestering me to layer up and hit the trails.
I will be honest; I’m pretty sure I like dressing up for the slopes more than
