Pretending I'm there.

The magic isn't happening for me this year so I will have to just pretend again.  NY Fashion Week is a thing of legend that this girl one day will be participating in; but until then I just love browsing the pictures from the runway to see what is up and coming!

Here are a few of my favorites from today so far!

BCBG Max Azria

BCBG Max Axaria is all about keeping the trend of color-blocking alive but in a new way.  Instead of traditional hard lines and dramatic bold statements this usage of colorblocking is ethereal and soft.  The garments are wispy and breezy while accenting with bright pops of color.  Coral looks like its going to be big this spring.

Supima

These dresses are bright and fun!  I love the use of yellow anytime so you can see why i am loving these two looks.  Supima dresses are sassy and fun.

This Supima stunner is my favorite look of the day so far.  Such a strong dress!  Sophisticated and edgy while still maintaining glamour

Tadasjo Shoji

These dresses are all girly and sweet.  All very feminine looks here.

It's OK Thursday!

It’s ok to really, really, really want a pair of ankle boots but not take the plunge to purchase (yet) because you are not sure how to wear them with your pants (yet).  What to do with the bottom of the pants: tuck them in; scrunch them up; roll them?  Oh I don’t know! 

It's ok for your boys in blue to lose their season opener; hey it just takes the pressure off, we didn't want to deal with the demands of an undefeated season anyway.

It's ok to still use your space heater in your cubicle all summer long even though it pushed triple digits most days.  I swear my office runs the AC like they are housing penguins.

It's ok to sit in your bathtub backwards, swivel the tv towards the door and blare the volume at maximum level so that you can catch the second half of the ID Investigates show you are watching while relaxing in the tub. 

It's ok to be an ID ADDICT.

It's ok to buy your nephews things you want to play with for their Birthdays.  Just so you can play with them. 

It's ok to be quickly developing an addiction to Pretty Little Liars (i'm averaging two episodes a night until I can catch up.) 

It's ok to want every item in Spencer Hastings wardobe on said show (Pretty Little Liars.) 

It's ok to sometimes be ok when your dog steals your husbands spot in the bed...

I couldn't let this one pass...

I stumbled upon this pin last night and immediately knew i couldn't let it go by without a post devoted solely to it.  I love Vuitton as much as the next fashion junkie but I can't help but feel it has been tainted a bit due to its sheer popularity and "trendiness" over the past few years.  Call it the curse of popularity but its luster has dimmed a bit for me lately.  Until this pin.  This look is just pure genius.  Pure, absolute, fashion flawlessness.  I have never seen a fashion house summed up just so accurately.  I had to share.
