Weekend Recap

Happy Monday morning!  It's turkey week; can you believe it!  Where has this year gone?  This is the time of year where i feel like i need a seatbelt because i know that the rest of the year is going to be a wild ride.  With the purchase of a new home added to the normal holiday chaos i feel my stress levels bubbling a bit already but im going to try really hard to focus on whats really important this year and that is how lucky I am to be healthy and happy with such great friends and family.  My life is great and that is all that matters.

My Motto this Holiday Season:

On to the weekend recap!

My Mom came up to visit this weekend so Saturday was the official kick off of Christmas shopping for us.  I couldnt believe how well we did!  Mom knocked out a good 80% of her shopping in ONE DAY!  By early afternoon we were DONE with Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Lattes in hand.

Next we headed to Cary to tour my brothers new business location.  He is a PGA certified golf pro and he recently re-located his business, 3D Golf Instruction, to the SportHQ facility in Cary.
3D Golf was created to provide golfers of any age or ability the opportunity to take advantage of the diagnosis technology that has emerged in today’s golf market. Bio-Mechanics based instruction is highly efficient and allows professionals to identify swing faults based on FACTS, not opinions.  This is the PERFECT gift for any guy or girl who wants a little help improving their swing on the course.  If anyone is in the Raleigh area and interested in checking him out for yourself or as a gift leave me a comment and your email address and I will hook you up with a discount!

After checking out my brothers new digs Mom and I headed home to get crafty!  I don't know where all of this energy came from but the Moms and I were on a roll!  A few hours of DIY Christmas fun and look what i created!

I'm really proud of myself and can't wait to hang my Christmas skate on my front door!  Ok, ok, i admit it.  It's already hanging on my front door :)  But its only FOUR more days to Thanksgiving so im not that far ahead of the appropriate Christmas decoration time frame.

Mom headed back home early Sunday morning and all of the activity from Saturday finally caught up with me.  The majority of the day was spent relaxing around the house and trying to fill the empty rooms.  Saturday night we curled up on the couch to watch the Giants on Sunday night football.  Unfortunately that didnt turn out too well...i snapped this picture of Audrey after she watched Ballard miss his SECOND PERFECT TOUCHDOWN PASS from Eli.  Her frustration was apparent and i shared the sentiment:

Now we just have to beat the Cowboys twice and we will be ok, oh and the the undefeated Packers too (did i mention them.)  Boo.

What did you do this weekend?
