The Fall Favorites Swap!

Back in October as I was perusing my favorite blogs i came across a Fall Favorites Swap at The K.O. Jewelry and The Chronicles of Chaos.  Swaps really tickle my pickle but add Fall to the mix and I jumped right on this ship headed for Fall Heaven!

Finally the big reveal day has arrived!  I don't know how i sat on all this fantastic swag for so long without sharing with you all!

I don't use this word very much, but my swap parter is RAD.  Her blog is The Art of Cooking Chic and i suggest you run over there just as soon as you have finished this post and check her out.  I know you hear that in every swap reveal but I really mean it.  Cristina has one of those writing voices that is so entertaining you would add her to your blog roll even if she didn't have great pictures to entertain your pretty little eyes.  She's like one of those books you read in middle school that didn't have illustrations but you loved it anway.  But BONUS she does have pictures!  She is just that good at her writing!

So before i start bragging on my Fall Favorites goodies I want to pause to show one of those small things; those small things that really make your day better.  It was the box my gift arrived in:

BOOM!

Isn't it fun!  I really enjoy things like this.  What may be doodles to some are works of art to others.  How sweet was it that Cristina took the time to make my box travel in style!  I bet none of the other boxes at the Post Office were high styling.  I told you, Rad she is.

And here, my dears, is what I found inside!  Chocolate, Coffee Mug, Recipe, Leopard Clutch, Oh, My!  Overjoyed is a good word to explain how i felt when i surveyed my loot.  Amazed that my swap partner had figured me out so well just by reading my little old blog.

Lets start with the Dagoba Organic Chocolate bars:

I'm not the only one who fell in love with these babies.  As I sat back and reveled in the sweet goodness of this milk chocolate wonder I found a groupie had appeared.  She tried so hard to convince me to share; first with her Gopher impression and a big smile and then with a stern look to let me know she was serious.

The remaining contents:

1. Leopard Print Clutch.  This baby has a hard case and snap enclosure that no destruction can touch.  The black satin interior feels so nice as i slide my finger along it to fish out my drivers license (you know I don't look 32, I get's ID'd.)

2. Monogrammed Coffee Mug. Coffee is more than an addiction to me, its a way of life.  There is no quitting coffee for me. A new capsule to get this wonder java to my lips? Yes, Please!  Although I must say the beauty of it has currently won out and I am proudly displaying it for now.  It is the perfect holder for my chalk that sits on the table under the decorative chalkboard in my dining room.

3. Cristina's Pumpkin Soup Recipe. Soup! Soup! I love soup!  I love, love, love it!  I can't wait to try this recipe out and feature it on A drop of ink so you all can enjoy it too!

This was such a super swap experience for me.  There is nothing better than meeting new people on a level that is off the computer screen from time to time.  Thank You Cristina for putting so much thought into my gifts, you really made my day.  I'm so grateful for my new Blog Friend!

If you would like to see what I got for Cristina check out her blog.

Thank you for all your kind words, and it makes me heart warm that you loved your gifts so much! I can't wait to read what you think about the soup. Serve it in bread bowls and people will line up around the block!
