Weekend Update

It's actually pretty awesome to be penning a weekend update post on a Tuesday afternoon; Hooray for long weekends!  This weekend the husband, the beagle and I took a trip to Harker's Island, NC for a visit with my in-laws.  Harker's Island is one of my favorite places in the world because it is one of the few places I actually relax.  Sitting on a boat, anchoring at the islands and sipping some beverages lazily watching the lines is my idea of a good weekend.  I'm a far cry from a fisher(wo)man but this weekend I gave it a try and success! 9 Spanish and 5 Blue's later and we have a good island dinner!  I could get used to the breezy days and daily visits with the wild pony's of the Shackleford Banks...
